  1. Enjoyed seeing your web site showing the restoration of the XP-82. While at Cal Poly, my senior project was building a P-82 out of two P-51D Mustangs R/C kits from House of Balsa. I tested the P-82 in a wind tunnel at Cal Poly and presented my findings at a AIAA meeting in 1983!

  2. I am sorry to ask this question , but do you plan to make the XP-82 flying again ? This restoration looks so nice that I have the feeling this aircraft could fly again . Am I wrong ?

  3. This aircraft is being restored to flying status. We already have our two Merlin engines, props and hubs and should be mounting the two fuselages to the center section by 1 September. You are definitely not wrong. She will fly again!!

  4. when you get this beautiful bird flying again, please consider bringing her to Nampa, Idaho at Warhawk Air Museum during the mustang days. I would love to get some pictures of this plane as would a lot of other war bird enthusiasts. I am pretty sure that the museum would welcome you with open arms.
